Frequently Asked Questions about Custom Hardcover Book Printing (FAQ)

How do you design hardcover books?

First, create the layout based on your brand and gather the appropriate data, images, assets and the supporting text.

Also, your designs should reflect the information that you are trying to share with your customers.

Alternatively, we can design your books here at the Print Center or modify your existing graphics.

How many pages can my hardcover book have?

Your booklet can have any number of pages, from 24 pages up to 500 pages.

Saddle stitched or stapled booklets are printed in multiples of 4 pages. Therefore, meaning you can have 44 pages, 48, 52, 56, etc.

What is a hardcover book?

Hardcovers books are, exactly as the name implies, books with a thicker hardcover that surrounds the contents of the book.

The pages of a hardcover book are glued together with a durable and flexible glue at the spine that is further glued in a hardcover exterior.

Hardcovers give extreme durability to your books and will make them look outstanding and professional.

Also, they will last for several years to come.

What orientations are offered for hardcover books?

Hardcover books are offered in both portrait and landscape.

The design team at the Print Center can help you optimize your design for the hardcover printing in either orientation.
